The competence practice “Communication Technology” is looking for highly motivated professionals to expand their business in the Russian market (location in Moscow).

Your New Tasks:

You will work in international consulting projects in the telecommunications sector with focus on network operators. You support our clients in different processes e.g. core and aggregation, migration of legacy net-works and service architectures for packet based networks. In addition you create migration strategies and also support the preparation of proposals. You provide specific strategies, architectures and design component selection and implementation of solutions in the stated areas. And you also strengthen the market position and support the project acquisition in cooperation with our sales department.

Your Know-how:

• Master or bachelor degree, preferably in telecommunications related subjects
• In-depth knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Technologies and standards for packet networks, e. g. Ethernet, IP, MPLS, MPLS-TP, VPLS or PBB
• Network architectures and design for carrier-grade, packet transport networks
• Packet switching and routing, IP-routing protocols such as OSBF, BGP, ISIS
• Experience in further NGN technologies are beneficial (e. g. Soft switch, IMS, NGOSS)
• Understanding of technology driven impact and changes for telecommunication business models
• Distinctive analytical and conceptual abilities, consulting skills, toughness and motivation
• Ability to present projects results on technical and top management level, affinity to work in multi-cultural teams on interdisciplinary projects.
